A year and a half ago, I would never have considered myself a reader. The idea of losing myself in the pages of a book seemed far-fetched. Worse yet, when I did pick up a book, I struggled to retain even a single sentence. My mind was a whirlwind of distractions, constantly making lists of other tasks I could be tackling instead of immersing myself in the world of a good book. Being present while reading was a skill I had yet to master.


Little did I know that the path to transformation and personal growth would begin with a commitment to reading. It was an endeavor I had to approach just like any other healthy habit – with dedication, consistency, and a willingness to grow. I set a manageable goal for myself: read for just 10 minutes a day. The focus wasn't on the number of pages I covered, but on the words I absorbed and the insights I gained. Reading was no longer a task but a journey into self-discovery, personal growth, and newfound skills for organizing my life and managing stress and anxiety.
